So I was cleaning out my bible of the many various papers and such that always accumulate . . . and I found this here sheet with a really good quote on it . . . stop and think about it.
Talking in relation to 2 Timothy 3:12 which says:
“Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”
If to some extent we are not the objects of the world’s hatred,
if we do not have the disapproval of those who despise Christianity, if we are not evil spoken of as were the prophets of old, then we may very well raise the question as to whether or not we are living godly lives or not. – H. A. Ironside
